Welcome to my website!
My work brings together my passion for both classical mosaics and contemporary mosaic forms, using a wide range of material including broken china and found objects and I have a weakness for rummaging in car boot sales and flea markets. I am keen to make mosaics for outside and this will be an increasing feature of my work over the next couple of years.
I love giving broken or discarded items a new lease of life and wonder while I'm working about the previous, unknown lives of objects and their owners. I am happy to talk about commissions if you have a particular idea – or something precious you would like to see given a new life through mosaic.
I've been making mosaics for about 10 years, based in the beautiful city of Bath, in the UK. I'm largely self-taught but have been lucky to be able to study mosaic with some excellent teachers, including Erica Bibbings, Emma Biggs, Sonia King and Tamara Froud. I am member of the British Association for Modern Mosaic.
From 2020, I expect to be delivering a regular workshop programme, so drop me a line if you'd like to know more about these in due course.
